I think it fits the rear also so you can use the other one in the rear if you want. I can't see breaking one of these. If you break it you've bent the chassis for sure. I've found the aluminum on chassis is a bit soft.
You would actually need 4, two for the front and two for the rear. I recently had a pretty good crash, bent my Tekno chassis but that particular piece (arm holder) was intact but when I heard they have been breaking on other guys I figured why push my luck. So I've purchased 2.
