I'm going out to the track tonight and will try the ice cubes. From what you've told me, just lay them on the "underside" of the can. Is this so the condensation stays at the bottom or is there something else? I could probably set my car up at an angle and set one (shaped) cube into the sapce between the top or the can and the motor plate....
Then I could wedge one under the motor (shaped cube) and the motor guard... BTW. on the second picture, on the very back of the motor guard, there is a "TL" I have that cut out so there's more room to put something. I also don't have stickers on my motor, so I should be fine.
