Curious how many people are running chassis protectors? This is the first time I've had a car with an aluminum chassis. I ran a protector on it the first time out but its already become a hassle. I run on an outdoor clay track. Is it just not worth worrying about? Do the aluminum chassis hold up pretty well?
Don't run a protector. With 4wd running such low ride heights already, its just gonna muck up your setup if you copied a pro setup. Wear is not very high the xray aluminums the same grade as their 1/8 buggy so its really tough. Mine only shows minimal scuffing at the kickup area and no scratches. Track was indoor clean clay though.
