Hi. The engine is ready for up to 20% nitro with the stock clearance. Normally we use 16-20% in our .12 engines, and have plenty of power. If you have to use something like 25% you should add one .1mm head shim. If you want to run 30% you should add .2mm of head shims.
Personally I use Rocket Science fuel, I feel it offers the best protection against wearing out the engine internals. Although it is a little more difficult to break in an engine using Rocket Science.
