I wasn't sure either after returning to TCs in August 2009.
I loved my Factory TC4, but I thought I better start with belt cars.
I bought a used T2'008 roller for $250. In excellent shape. It was Carpet only.
I then bought a used TC5R roller with tons of parts and a 17.5 motor for $200.
The Xray was an OK deal and the TC5R was a steal.
I only drive the TC5R so far.
