There's nothing wrong with you choices, they'll do waht you want, charger will just take a little longer that some others.
Look at the pic of that lipo - the other wires that hav ethe little white plug - thats the balance tap or connector. Its wired to the cells so the balancer can read individual cell voltages. Here is a solid but inexpensive balancer - Astro Blinky - you slide the balance tap onto the leads at the bottom - read the instructions - you will start on one side I believe (taps bget bigger as cell count goes up). Its a good balancer, can balance while charging so you'll get an optimum charge.
