Do the AE x-ring shock seals (Part #91493) need to be soaked or treated in any way prior to use? I'm reading that some of the x-ring seals do and some don't. AE doesn't say one way or the other.
I use the green slime on any o-ring including the x-rings. It's a habit I got from work in Aerospace manufacturing.
