Yes, it has been mentioned before
Put a shim in before the bearings, this will fix it. The new yellow pad a sightly thinner then the original black pads, hence a little more back and forward play.
Note: you do need a little movement, so don't go shimming all of the play out.
Nobody I know is shimming the slipper assembly and so far zero issues. Might do it to remove just a slight amount of play, but so far no problems with both cars, the one I have now, and the one I had earlier in the year.
