Yes. I upgraded to the aluminum one from 3 racing. I also literally coated all 3 gears in ceramic grease.

**the ff03 idler gear and the ta06 is the same part number, so I bought this one. It works fine and has held up great so far with no signs of wear on it or any wear on the other gears (because this is alum and those are plastic.)
