The older Losi's (xxx series) should fit if you really want to go that route, not 100% sure about the 22's tho, but I would suspect not.
Make sure the ballstuds are screwed all the way in - if the flat part doesn't lie right on the surface it's screwed on, the exposed thread section will offer a least resistance spot, and that's where it'll break.

all of mine have broken on little jumps or minor crashes, never when i think the car should have broken. I've been adding the hex ones in one at a time as they break. Someone at the local track had mentioned something about losi ball studs, but he was running a 22, so I wasn't too sure.
The hex ones my dad had bought so I've been taking them to use, but is that one of the other differences from the b4.1 to the b4 is the b4.1 studs have a hex hole instead?
