This is one of my better ideas too. Just one thing: I dont bash....So I thought I'd share this for anyone who does.
Well if you know of a frozen lake or pond and thought that it'd be fun to drive your RC on this is for you!
What you need: Old set of tires, foams, wheels, duct tape, and a bunch of thumb tacks like this
Heres the idea: take the tires and push through the thumb tacks from the inside out so you have studded tires.
Make any kind of pattern you think would work best and work your way around each tire. Then put a strip of duct tape around the inside of the tire to cover the heads of the tacks and keep them from backing out. Then put in the foams and mount up the tires as you would any other time. Then, hit the ice!
Whaddya think? I'd like to see pics if someone actually tries this out!
