I know going from stock FT kit front axles. and stock chassis to +8mm chassis and inline axles. the buggy felt 100% better and different.
ordinarily I would say you are right but to be honest, the main reason I am just slapping the +8 on right away is that is what everyone is using so if I have a setup question, I can at least be comparing apples to apples. If this was 6 or 8 years ago when I was running a B3 or XXX, then I wouldn't bother because I have an idea how to adjust the car and get it in the ball park. But a 6 year layoff from racing (and about 8 years since racing offroad), I am relearning. I mean back when I was racing we ran Trinity D3 motors and MVP's for stock LOL. That's kinda why I was asking about the springs. I hadn't even thought about running Non AE springs until I saw the +8 setups listing Kyosho Oranges. To a guy like me, or the average racer, are we really going to feel the difference between a 2.78 spring and a 2.8 spring? LOL

Anyway, thanks for the feedback. If they have them in stock at the track when I finally get back out there, I'll prolly snag a set to throw in the box.
