Man, I once doubted someone(on the Yokomo thread, I believe) when they talked about how big a difference it makes not to have the extra layer of strink wrap on cells. BOY WAS I WRONG!
I couldn't get my Integy 3000HV cells(which came with extra shrink wrap already on them) to fit into any of my cars without modifying the battery holders. Finally when I just got my Mission, I couldn't get them to fit in there at all, period. I didn't want to modify my Mission so I decided to try removing the shrink wrap to see if it would help.
Man did it ever. After removing the wrap on all the cells, the pack dropped right into my Mission with ease.
Man, I never would have 'thunk' that the wrap made the packs that much bigger. Guess you learn something new everyday.
