Before, CRC Black Fronts & GreyLow Rears were a solid choice and worked really well. They came off the track clean and held up well through the 8 minute run.
Now, these tires are coming off feeling really sticky/tacky and are begining to fuzz 3/4 way through the run. Same with grey/yellow combo. The cars feel slower and slightly lazy.
I've tried TRC Magenta & Pinks in the past and they come off really tacky as well. Very strong at the begining of a run, but fall off dramatically 1/2 way though.
Is there a tire combo that anyone would recommend for this situation?
or
Is there setup changes that need to happen? Stiffer all the way around?
or
Is this just a matter of cleaning the tires with motor spray between runs?
Thanks in advance.
When I run pink or magenta tires, I put tire sauce on them the night before and keep them in a plastic bag, makes it last the whole race and then some.
