This has nothing to do with cost. I got rid of my M11X and picked up and MT-4, and haven't looked back.

The big screen and menu system on the M11X are a big downside for me. The MT-4 is lighter too, but not too light, kind of perfect. Love how small it is and slots into my hauler now instead of it's own pouch.

The only consideration with cost is, that being cheaper you can be less precious with it as it's easier to replace if need be. Not that I trash my stuff or don't care for it. It's just nice to leave it in the TX compound at a big race meeting and not worry about it.

MT-4 for me.
