regarding your settings, i would say that you went too conservatively on either, or both, the timing and the gearing. inch them up until you're temping 150*F or so after a run. my opinion is that the timing will make a bigger impact.
as a rule of thumb, i've never been happy with a program that comes off the track at 110*
