Is what you're calling li-ion the same as what's called 'lilo'??

If they are, then no, they are not the same since they charge to different cell max voltages. If they are not the same, then I don't have an answer to your question.

Seems the 1st one listed under positive terminal in the table is what we've been calling lipo. the 4th one id a Life, but beyond that, I don't know which or what a li-ion is.

My iCharger has setup for lipo, lilo and life.....those all charge to different max cell voltages. I've seen this asked before, but haven't seen it really answered.
