But there's still a pin driving the hex...soo...not sure how this translates into more durable? Maybe somebody can explain?

ThunderbirdJunkie snapped an MIP CVD back in the day on his B2. Still not sure what happened there Still never broken an axle pin, though. Only time the pin got stripped out was using JConcepts wheels, at least for ThunderbirdJunkie.
