There was a batch of motors that the timing has a limited adjustment just like what you are describing. We have since asked for that change to be undone.

If you need to get more timing you will have to take apart the sensor assembly and then you will have to file the legs on the sensor so that it can spin more. It's difficult to explain with out pictures, once you take it apart you might understand what I mean.
