Does anyone know how to adjust the timing on the new Sonic motors further than the last line? I'm running 17.5 and see that many people adjust to the center of the screw but I cannot seem to push it any more than a little bit past the last line. Is this normal? Even with this much timing and perfect gearing for my track the motor only hits about 120 deg...but I heard that the newer Sonic motors cannot go as far as the older ones.
There was a batch of motors that the timing has a limited adjustment just like what you are describing. We have since asked for that change to be undone.
If you need to get more timing you will have to take apart the sensor assembly and then you will have to file the legs on the sensor so that it can spin more. It's difficult to explain with out pictures, once you take it apart you might understand what I mean.
