Default Got the +8...

Just spent the day at the track with my AE made +8 chasis...
Everything tuned, everything dialed.
Set up was the Brent Thielke (Surf City) on Rc10.com.
Was feelin like I had finally brought the car down to my ability and was off the edge. All was right with the world.
BUT THEN...
A fellow racer pointed me towards the Kyosho springs on the wall. Yeah those.
$7 per pair.
Even though I had read every setup from the pros listing the use of them, I still had not given these too much thought.I have generally been pleased with the supplied ae parts of my Factory Team kits. The spurs, the plastics, Even the ball cups! And i was mis informed thinking the k springs cleared the threaded shocks better but that never bothered me with the stockers.
I was feeling like the car was worth it today. Since I had just poured over it with the loving care that it deserved from my back of the b main finishes over the last few months and all. So, with all the new parts, factory +8 chasis, rebuilt diff, shocks, and replaced ball cups and all, I said hell with it...
I spent the $14 on a car's worth of K springs.
Followed the super secret installation process. Which is:
They.
Go.
Right.
On.(NOTHING REQUIRED BUT THE SPRINGS)
AND.........Bam!
Like buying a new kit.
Seriously.
I honestly have been waiting for the write ups on the RB5WE and I was about to throw two DEX210's in my cart at a main.
But I won't. The Factory Team RC10B4.1+8KS (Kyosho Spring(may as well start calling these cars that(just sayin(sorry ae)))) is fantastic. It was lacking these progressive springs.
That is something I did not know.
Im tired. But this car is still awesome. AE would be doing us all a favor and stepping up the Factory team kit. Id buy one just for the fresh plastic and parts. but thats another post.
Just wanted to say I'm still happy to drive it and you should get yourself some K springs if you didnt when this came up like ten months ago.
Thanks for reading.
