The main advantage of ceramics is less rotating mass, which means faster spool up and some gain in top end RPM. That is the theory at least. Is it measurable?...idk
They should last longer aswell as the balls wear less then steel. Note i write "should" as ofcourse there are more factors that dictate wear. The balls can't rust either which is a plus aswell.
