Try taking both sheilds off and using motor spray with the straw. That way, whatever is stuck in there will go through. You can also try putting in a couple of drops of bearing oil, spinning the bearing, and then using the motor spray again. I did that with a bearing that was completly seized and it ended up working just like new.
