The Market will determine the price of everything. Novarossi set prices they felt they could sell their engines at and some people bought them, others spent their money where they felt it be better spent.
We have a choice to buy something or not. Again, I'm cool with nova prices and I'm cool with Picco prices. If either company goes to far with their product, WE the MARKET have the right to vote with our dollars. They WILL get the point rather it be their price or their quality.
If we try to control them by telling them what prices they should sell their products at we will all lose.
In the end, the market has the final say.
Remember a while back when Ernie Provetti had the exclusives for Sanyo and panasonic batteries in the US and prices went through the roof?
GP came along with a great product, broke the monopoly and battery prices came down to a reasonable level.
That's what going to happen now with engines.
The Torque rage of engines is almost entirely new and has little to do with the EVO4 series and it comes very close to NR.
We ran two Torques the entire season and other than initial bearing problems they were awesome.
Considering the new EFRA rules for 2013, I guess alot of racers will look towards Picco.
Also, some major players over here will be switching brands
