For us it seems the 14deg C-hubs only work better when the track is very bumpy or rutted, like in the vids that ykc posted.
However, for smoother track surfaces the 10deg C-hubs are more precise and offer more turn-in off-power. The stock 12deg is therefore the best compromise for all conditions.
US tracks have become more smooth over the last couple of years, to accomodate the newer classes such as 1/10th SC trucks.
