Just get yourself some brake cleaner, it's in a spray can. Heaps cheaper than proper motor spray (known as just rebadged brake clean). Pick it up at any auto place for around 6 to 8 bucks. Last time I got some I paid $6 for the Loctite brand from Repco, Bargin.
