New crank pin (according to AFM) - 4.438 mm
Cleareance required (according to Andrea Rossi) - .04 or .05 mm.
Adding both the conrod hole diameter should be - 4.478 or 4.488
Conrod diameter (new conrod I have) - 4.48 OK
Crank pin diameter on my engine - 4.30 OPS!!!
The engine is about 6 months old and well treated. I wonder what could have happened. I also wonder if there is a way to correct the situation since this is a Murnan modified engine and I would not like to loose the modifications.
thanks
Jose
Maybe you can take the crank to a chrome plating shop that rebuilds car cranks and have them put some mils of hard crome on the pin to restore the original measure.
Down here there is no such service. If it is possible to do on your area, maybe we can recuperate those Sirio cranks.
