Since you have an SS you can boost a .5 motor to a very high rate of speed.
But for Norcal Asphalt, no matter what motor you have, you eventually will want more
It is surprising how much more there is in a .0 than a .5 when you get down to the low turn mods.
With the MD 4.0 it liked 40roll at TQ and around 44mm at iic.
The 4.5 was more like 48roll at TQ. That roll was more or less the same with an LRP or MD.
I can't give you ESC settings, as every motor is different.
And I've only just started to play with an SXXSS & 13.5 in our open class at TQ, so far though, it is fairly quick, and a match for the 5.5 mod motors in the class, granted this is a tight track, though not near as tight as the NorCal rug.
Learning curve approaching
...lol
Well Steve is going to bring a 4T and 4.5T so I have till tomorrow to decide
I will buy a 13.5 next month for those times when only that class is available but want to get a mod now cause carpet here is only for two months so I'll probably get the 4T for the asphalt
I believe 4.0 and up for the SXXSS
I need help with the formula
Code:
Rear (44mm) X (Pi) 3.1416 X Pinion (?) / 92 =
Thanks for your answer and anyone else
