I would sell the new stuff(after they replace your ESC) and buy a budget brushless. I would recommend just makin the switch. Longer run times, WAY faster, LOADS of torque.

Under $100 shipped! Cant beat it. This would be a fine set up on 12-14 cell Nimh or 4s.
