I hate to blown a hole in you idea about the Edge or Havoc Pro SC for 1 cell. These are 2 cell units being used on a 1 cell. I do use the new Novak Booster with these units. The Havoc Pro SC (Newest one) has the XDrive which makes it faster and smoother.
