First of all, hello and thanks, I've been reading you from a while and this is my first post.

I need help about gearing, I've been trying to control a corally sp12x with a alien power 4.5T in a big track (asphalt outdors for 1/5th) but it's over me. I also have another motor, one corally 9.5T star and I was thinking about using it, but i have a lot of doubts about gearing it.

Circuit info:
Lenght 314m.
Main Straight of 53m followed by a open turn that it's near full throttle.
