The OD 97T will not hurt your engine. I would recommend checking them after each race day, if the filament is distorted then replace. This reduces the risk of the filament dropping from the plug into the engine.
I ran OD turbos are few years ago in my Nova engines. Like others report, I found the OD plugs did not last as long.
