Tension Pulley Width Between Flanges?

Can anyone tell me the percise belt size the ta03f's tension pulley (as seen on page 13 of the manual) is meant to work with, I mean can I use it with a 1/4 inch belt on another application? Will that belt fit between the flanges? Anyone care to measure the space between the flanges?
