That translates to about 992 Watts (this seems high to me) that's just a straight up conversion and I know there is a lot of variables. Does any body have more accurate #s?
I've been looking at TACON motors in the Hobbypartz site, when looking at a motor's specs they show Watts and a number of Lipo cells eg. 2,3 etc.
I'm reading it as "when using this # of Lipo cells, this will be your power output (watts)" and dividing the posted Watts output by the # of cells gives you the per cell watts, am I correct in assuming this?
If that's checks out, is it as simple as just finding out a BL motor that puts about that 992 Watts when using 3-5s?
We have to figure out what's the max wattage output than won't destroy the stock tranny and go from there. What do you guys think?
Nah thats no fun... It would be to slow anyways. Dont you want it to be faster then the nitro. I know I do. Hell I killed the first tranny with a VXL system. The BL motors have to much low end torque thats what is killing the gears.
