I got one with a R203GF rx, every now and again (without any pattern) it glitches. Does not depend on environment; happens regularly where ever I run it. It looks like the signal drops out, the signal light switches off and the throttle goes to failsafe. Adding a cap to the RX or running directly off batteries doesn't do anything.

I can't check the TX/RX individually as I dont have another Futaba FHSS TX.
First, put new batteries in the TX - whenever my Futaba goes to failsafe, that has been the cause even when I think there should be enough juice in there.

Second, re-link the TX/RX immediately after this happens.
