Hi guys,
We have a five cell AAA 850 mAh (NiMH) receiver pack that's playing up.
It's a near new pack and is normally charged with a 50 mAh wall charger, left overnight.
At our last meeting it went for a couple of minutes and died. A fellow racer decided it was just being recalcitrant and gave it a short 5A belt around the chops. He then charged it normally and it was fine for the rest of the day.
I'm thinking that maybe it needs cycling a couple of times to condition it, but I'm not really sure.
What I know about batteries could be chiseled on the back of an asprin with a crow bar, so any advice on proper care and feeding of this pack would be welcome.
We'll be using a Supanova 250S to charge/discharge it.
Many thanks for any advice.
