the main reason for rear hex wheels is if your wheel nuts loosen up, u wont strip out the wheels like the older style ones! u might strip the plastic axel hexes, but atleast the wheels should be okay!
Exactly and plus B and B hobbies is finally carrying the buggy rear and front wheels so wheels are easy to find.
