They are also called bullet connectors. The main ones are 4mm and the center is 2mm. You'll see the connectors done both ways; some direct from the ESC and some with a Deans. I'm of the Deans camp simply because I don't want anything that could possibly short out. I've never had a set come out on a wreck or anything.
