Good Running by all the guys running a Rebel at the IIC.
I wish I could of brought home its first international win but after 60 hours at the track in 5 days my wrench failed me at the most important time and my pod loosened up from not fully tightening the screws. I had the pod off to check the pivot was free after a wreck in the 4th round.
Either way The car was easily capable of winning the 13.5 class. I had the 2 fastest runs of the weekend and the single fastest lap of the event in the class by over a tenth.
There were a handful of guys in the 17.5 class that had very good cars. Hanulec, and Goat both had cars capable of winning the class.
Everyone in that class was scrambling to keep up with one guy rip wise and that guy was later discovered to be running a 13.5 and was DQ'ed from the main.
The Rebel is a force to be reconed with.
