its not that much of a copy.. at least the tank is diferent!
but in all seriousness there are only so many ways you can build a car in that configuration? why doesnt anyone say that the HPI RS43 is a copy of the FW-05R? (or more correctly FW-04), kawahara have made a unique design of the FW-05R which i commend them for, but everything is copy of everything these days, as most everything has been done once upon a time ago (even the TRF415 isnt a tamiya model, its designed by tech-racing) and from what ive heard the CD3 and the FW-05R handle quite differently, and in reality if you put a FW-05R and a CD3 next to eachother they look quite different (i have done this comparison before, trust me the cars aint that identical!)the CD3 is basically the suspension geometry of an LD3 with the greatly improved handling the chassis offers, still the shaft drive power and the hugely improved top speed that the new pipe configuration gives (theres one CD3 at a track i race at, with a RB V12 3 port he kills me on top end with my novarossi 5 port)
