So after seeing Marcus' type of slipper discs, I decided to try it on my own before making an upgrade to the slipper.
I had some spare perfboard laying around from the last project I did, and decided to build a slipper.
It's made out of epoxy cast fiberglass, cut with a cutter and a pair of pliers, and drilled with the help of Dad's fellow Makita (12 y o now, but still like new):
It works GREAT. The truck doesn't wheelie, but the post-corner throttle has skyrocketed, acceleration has increased a crapload, and it's overall much faster. With the spring set at a more loose setting.
