I can safely tell you that the Bonito is a total monster of a .21..Massive amounts of bottom end power...with the long stroke the engine has the bottom end like a .28...torque starts very low in the RPM range, unlike any other .21 I have run...... The engine is an amazing Truggy engine because of its heavy duty bottom end...However IMO it is just too powerful to be used in a Buggy....... If your looking for a Apex Truggy engine then the Clocked Bonito is the way to go....

The Mod B6 is a ideal buggy engine...powerful and fast..with a stout bottom, smooth delivery and a bashee like top end....... By comparison the Bonito is an absolute torque monster with bottom end unlike any other .21 I have run in all my years of nitro....
Hi Neal, thanks for chiming-in so quickly. I was curious because I'd seen Billy Easton & Robert Batlle running the mill in their buggies and was curious to know more about it. I was always under the impression that Nova engines were excellent on tune and longevity, but a little lacking in the oomph department, not to mention excessively spendy in comparison to other mills.
