Yeah yeah I'm running 17.5 so what it wheelies the entire back straight
If they declare"no boost" they tech . They tech'd top 3 drivers the last few times when "no boost" was the rule.

Personally I don't care Mod or 17.5 or 13.5.

I'm always for a spec class, but we did learn a lesson last time this was tried....most guys dont like change, or learning how to gear a car properly, or adapting to slower motors. Or above all, buying something else for another class.

But Freddy, I know where you are coming from,
Not really a bad idea, most people have a 17.5 in their box.

As for the boosted issue, over half the crowd has no idea how to adjust boost / timing parameters properly, and even if the rule is NO BOOST , their is still people using esc's with advanced timing
And thinking they arent ,yet they don't even realize that (as is the case with most LRP's) and this is what throws off short course.

So IMO, a motor limit is a motor limit, if people want to use timing/boost, that's up to them, we all have a choice which motor we choose as well as which esc we choose, as well as ....the time we take to learn how to use it to it's potential.
