u mean after 30-35 mins ..the second speed is very late to kick in ? that shouldn't be ...
Normally when tire size is big like 75-77 ...u will have a bit late of second speed but when tire size smaller ..the second speed should be earlier or very nice !! ..depend how did you set the second speed ...normally I will do second speed just a bit late between 75-77 mm .....so when the tire size is about 73-74 .... is about half way of racing... It will be the time to attack and drive faster with second speed is very nice to drive.
For ur case 72.5 is very good size for qualify ...So you should set the second speed until it 's very nice to drive .
