I am glad you guys are digging them! i cant make enough of them, everyday three or four days i am out! Of course i am biased but they actually act like a real clutch in that it actually grabs hard after the initial slip! and while it is slipping its putting down maximum traction.
A short story of how i came up with them. twice a month we race venom motorcycles and the problem we have with them and hot motors is coming out of the turns if you grabbed too much throttle (which is real easy to do!) the bikes would high side and blow up! we needed a slipper so i made one using mini-t pads and it was good but going down the straight you could hear the slipper continue to slip and we were losing speed. so i tried making disc's out of every type of material i had , carbon fiber, carbon, aluminum, SS and finally Garolite (which i did not think would work) and it performed perfect! now when we come out of the turns we can pull the front wheel up while its still slipping and peg the throttle! pretty much the same action that they do on the SC10!
