- What are the parts that I must have? If your car is complete to begin with nothing else other than a good set of tires.
- About the shock oil, must I use Xray brand shock oil? How about other brand? Any good quality silicone shock oil is good. I use Associated.
- About the gear ratio, must I follow the gear chart ratio given? I have a 30C 2S 5000Mah lipo, a 4.0 T LRP X12 brushless motor, and any suggestion for the spur and pinion gear? That depends if you're running boost or non-boost on your speed control. Just know what your internal drive ratio is and figure your final drive ratio from there. I have a 5.5T and I am geared at about 7.0 FDR. It temps about 140-150deg F. You'll need a good temp gun to fine tune your gearing or esc profile.
