hope it goes well, but why are you using so much reinforcement and hot glue. Almost all chassis done my matt or brent, or the one i did just use ca glue to join the halves then use corners of the old chassis to brace it up. These are glued in with ca glue and left or screwed in as well. If the chassis is done this way, it should be just as strong as a uncut chassis. I have put mine through its paces with 0 issues and i run on a 1/8 style track. Why the bracing at the bottom with aluminum, outside, inside, hot glue, etc? I cant see the hot glue working at all. Not trying to rip on you, just curious.
