i'm sure it is a great car John. As you know i enjoy wrenching the cars as much as racing them...i gotta say though the engine movement does freak me out a bit but i'm sure Robert P's performance at the euros says it all. My last Mugen owneership was a love hate relationship Loved the car, hated the gear stripping and it's probably the one thing on everyone's mind with this new car "will it strip gears like the old mtx4?" ...i sure hope not

I recon the MTX5 will be quicker than the NT1, i think it will steer more agressively also, and overall have more grip. From what Danjoy has said so far, it sounds like this is correct. The one thing i loved about the MTX4 is it's ability to grip well and drive well from mid corner to exit of corners. When i had the NT1 i never really had the amount of rear end grip as i had with the 4. I did find though that the NT1 transitioned better through fast changing corners.
