Hey Everyone,

This is actually my 2nd VTX10R. The first one I got just stopped working on its second lap and I had it RMA'ed. Viper sent me a brand new one because they were concerned that that ESC which came from the first production batch might have had some BEC issues. Anyways since I got the new ESC I've been running the settings recommended by Weylin and they are also very similar to my Speedpassion GT2.0. Track is low grip concrete, tight and main straight is 20m long.

Settings run were:
VTX10R
VST 4.5 motor with 45 degrees timing
Hotbodies TCX 4wd touring on rubber tires
Air temp 10 degrees celcius.
Profile 6
Stock mode (boost disabled)
FDR 8.08 and 8.5
Punch 60%
Brake PWM 3200
Throttle PWM Tried 4000, 5000, 8000, 12000, 16000

The motor is cool to the touch and it is only the ESC that is getting very hot. All of the combos listed have resulted in the ESC thermalling at 5 minutes. I have also had it shut down and play dead for a while.

Anyways I just wanted to get some help from Viper because it has been almost 2 months since I sent the email to Weylin.
