If you adjust it to as fast as OS,the engine will be as lasting as OS or more. All moving parts are subject to wear. So you have to check and maintain it regularly. 90% engine died due to worn out parts. If you want it more lasting,you can not be lazy. Also every nitro guys should have one temp gun. or keep the smoke exhausts out.
