Definitely a nice MLST2. I used to have one a couple years ago... it was the first hobby-grade truck I had bought. Got it secondhand with custom 1/10 scale servo setup in it. When it was running, it was an animal on a LiPo battery - and that was with the stock motors. But, I got tired of fixing it. The diffs liked to strip out and I just didn't feel looking under every last rock for some spring washers that came in less than a pack of 200. The amount of aluminum on it was steadily increasing and I had some good parts on it I shoulda held on to (some Full Force RC stuff that you can't get anymore). I coulda scored another one that was very hopped up (no more factory weaknesses) along with a Castle BL setup and Exotek conversion for less than $100, but at the time I didn't feel like dealing with it since I was moving on to 1/10 scale.

I have a 1/16 Slash that I race every other week, and they are MUCH more prone to breaking suspension parts than an MLST2, not to mention the shocks Losi put on their little monsters actually retain oil unlike the stock Traxxas GTR shocks. I can't tell you how many times I cartwheeled my mini LST without any damage.

If I didn't have 1 monster truck project currently goin on and another planned, I might consider picking up another Mini LST and just put a bulletproof drivetrain in it from the start. Heck, you can get an MLST for $50 or so nowadays since the 1/16 Revos and Summits hit the market.
